History

SCIderm was founded in 2000 under the name ICAMmed as a spin-off of the University of Freiburg by leading scientists of the Dermatology Clinic at the university. SCIderm swiftly earned a reputation in the field of scientific research (medical writing, scientific publications, meta-analyses, scientific reviews) and in strategic scientific consultancy. Based on the partners' scientific background, SCIderm established itself as a partner in clinical research in the field of dermatology and pertinent fields such as wound healing and allergology as well as the cosmetics sector. After moving to Hamburg in 2005 and renaming itself, SCIderm became a full-service CRO and established an exclusive network of reputable study sites with extensive experience in the execution of clinical studies. Thanks to cooperation with the majority of pharmaceutical companies in dermatology, allergology and cosmetics, SCIderm has gained a great deal of experience in planning, coordinating and executing clinical studies in all the relevant indications in dermatology.
