Hamburg Dermatologists NETWORK

Last year SCIderm set up the "Hamburg Dermatologists NETWORK"; approximately 20 dermatologists resident in Hamburg cooperate with SCIderm. Within this network, patients are selected from the doctors' offices and referred to SCIderm for participation in clinical studies.

Despite high specialist qualifications and a representative pool of patients, many resident physicians remain excluded from clinical research through randomized-controlled clinical studies. The Hamburg Dermatologists Network improves this situation and integrates outpatient care by resident specialists into the spectrum of clinical research, so that almost all the dermatologists in Hamburg have the opportunity to participate in clinical research.

Members of the Hamburg Dermatologists NETWORK are regularly informed by SCIderm about current studies being conducted at SCIderm and can then select interested patients suitable for clinical studies, and refer these to the SCIderm study site (SCIderm Clinics).

Members of our network receive a fee for referring patients.

On completion of the study, patients are referred back to the respective doctor's office by SCIderm for further treatment.
